Libya : 340,000 USD African Development Bank funding to support economic recovery

The African Development Bank Group through its official MIC-TAF facility provides a 340,000 USD grant to Libya’s Ministry of Transport for a strategic transport sector study. A workshop held in Tunis from 15 to 17 April 2026 set the implementation roadmap. The study will assess sector gaps, propose institutional and policy reforms, define short and medium-term actions, strengthen private sector participation, and identify financing options and bankable projects. Outputs will be delivered in Arabic, English and French to support Libya’s recovery and connectivity improvement.
