Ghana: Terra Industries launches “Pax-2” drone factory in Accra to expand regional production capacity

Nigeria-based Terra Industries, specializing in drones and autonomous defence systems, announced on 19 April 2026 the construction of a manufacturing facility in Ghana according to its official corporate communication, aiming to meet rising demand for surveillance and infrastructure protection technologies across West Africa. The “Pax-2” site will be located in Accra on a 3,150 m² area and will serve as a regional hub for drone and counter-drone production. According to African Development Bank data on regional security infrastructure needs, demand for surveillance solutions has been increasing due to cross-border security challenges. The project aims to strengthen local industrial capacity and Africa’s technological sovereignty in defence systems.
