Ethiopia: EUR 110 million from EIB Global to boost rural agri-finance and women inclusion

The European Investment Bank through EIB Global provides EUR 110 million to Ethiopia, according to official EIB and Ethiopian government data. The credit line channelled via the Development Bank of Ethiopia supports rural financial institutions and microfinance, with 50% dedicated to women and 20% to climate adaptation under RUFIP III and the EU Global Gateway strategy for agricultural resilience and inclusion.
