Digital payments : Orange Money Group and Visa partner to boost financial inclusion in Africa

On 13 December 2025, Orange Money Group and Visa announced a strategic partnership to accelerate online payments and expand access to financial services across Africa and the Middle East. Already active in Botswana, Madagascar and Jordan, the initiative includes the launch of the Orange Money Visa virtual card in Côte d’Ivoire. Available through the Max it app, the solution targets millions of users and is set to roll out in additional markets, including Guinea, Burkina Faso and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
