On December 8, 2025, the National Bank of Egypt secured €85M from the EBRD to expand financing for micro, small and medium enterprises, including youth- and women-led businesses. The agreement was signed during the visit of EBRD First Vice President Greg Guyett, further strengthening support for local MSMEs.
