Energy : the African Guarantee Fund launches the Mission 300 guarantee mechanism to mobilize $5 billion

The African Guarantee Fund launched the Mission 300 local currency Guarantee Mechanism, aiming to mobilize $5 billion for energy access projects in Africa. The mechanism supports SMEs in the distributed renewable energy sector. This initiative is part of a strategy to provide electricity to 300 million Africans by 2030, amid challenges of 600 million people without power.
