Ethiopia : “Gas-by-Rail” launched to create Africa’s continent-wide energy corridor 

Ethiopia will sign an agreement with Insight Dynamic Resources to launch the Gas-by-Rail initiative, a transformative project establishing a 73,500-km rail-based “virtual pipeline” across 40 Sub-Saharan countries. The system will deliver cleaner, affordable LNG energy to 1.2 billion people, potentially cutting woodfuel use by up to 75%.
