The Government will through the Ministry of Infrastructure on December 6, officially launch the Rubavu Port, a modern facility set to significantly boost trade not just within Rwanda but also in neighboring countries. The facility will facilitate cross-border trade and enhance connectivity with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and support local communities through increased economic opportunity anchored on trade, according to officials.
