Fintech MENA: PayTabs acquires TAPn’GO to scale contactless payments and real-time transactions

PayTabs Group, a leading payment orchestration platform in the MENA region, has acquired TAPn’GO, a contactless payment technology developed in the United Arab Emirates. The deal aims to integrate advanced payment features into its unified platform, enabling faster and seamless transactions for merchants. According to World Bank financial inclusion data and Bank for International Settlements reports on digital payments, the MENA region is experiencing rapid growth in electronic payments driven by mobile adoption and financial digitization.
