Brazilian giant JBS has signed an agreement with the Nigerian government to build six meat processing plants, with a $2.5 billion investment over five years. This project aims to produce poultry, beef, and pork to address Nigeria’s growing food insecurity. These plants will help reduce the country’s food dependency while fostering sustainable economic development, particularly as Nigeria faces a rapidly expanding population.
