On April 22, 2025, Minister Nizar Baraka confirmed Morocco will invest nearly $500 million to improve road access to Casablanca’s Grand Stadium, in preparation for AFCON 2025 and the 2030 World Cup. Key projects include the Rabat-Casablanca highway (due in 2029) and feasibility studies for a Fès-Marrakech route.
