MTN Uganda has secured a UGX 370 billion ($100 million) syndicated loan from five banks, including Standard Chartered and Citibank. The funding, denominated in local currency, aims to enhance the leading telecom operator’s infrastructure and boost regional connectivity as part of its network expansion efforts.
