Tunisia and Italy have signed a new employment framework agreement, strengthening bilateral ties. In Q1 2026, trade reached €1.57 billion, about $1.70 billion, according to official data from Tunisia’s National Institute of Statistics and the Italian Customs Agency. Italy remains a key partner, driven by industrial, energy, and manufacturing exports amid moderate Tunisian growth.
