Senegal : FOPICA invests 1.845 million euros to support the film industry

The Senegalese Film and Audiovisual Promotion Fund (FOPICA) has committed approximately 1.845 million euros (1,210,500,000 FCFA) to fund 49 film projects. Among the supported projects are films like « Soldier Senegalese » about Captain Mbaye Diagne and « Combat de nègres et de chiens. » This investment aims to strengthen Senegal’s film industry, with allocations for feature films, short films, documentaries, and series.
