According to the BCEAO, the business climate index for the UEMOA region stood at 100.7 in December 2024, reflecting continued confidence among business leaders. Senegal, Benin, and Togo stand out with scores of 101.9, 101.4, and 101.2, supported by reforms aimed at improving the business environment. These countries also benefit from relative security stability, favorable for investments. Senegal attracted $2.64 billion in FDI in 2023, while Benin and Togo received $433.85 million and $33.59 million in FDI, respectively.
