Nareva Holding and Engie, a new partnership

Nareva Holding, a company of the SNI group and the French Engie announced the signing of a protocol agreement strengthening their cooperation in Morocco and extending it to other African countries. This agreement comes after the partnership in the electrical field of Tarfaya wind farm and thermal power plant in Safi. This new partnership will allow both operators to jointly develop new power generation projects and energy services in Africa. The concerned countries are: Egypt, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana and Cameroon. They also announced that the goal is to develop an additional portfolio of assets worth  5,000 to 6,000 MW between 2020 and 2025. In this way, they can produce the equivalent of the average consumption of more than 10 million families in those countries.
