Inauguration of the first maritime line between Dakar, Banjul, and Praia

The first regular maritime line connecting Dakar (Senegal), Banjul (Gambia), and Praia (Cape Verde) was inaugurated on January 9 in Praia, with the presence of Cape Verdean authorities and the private consortium behind the project.
Operated by the ship « Djilor », the line was launched by Alkebular Cominex, a Senegalese company of Cape Verdean origin, in partnership with the Coçamaca consortium.
The project, with an investment of one million euros, aims to boost trade and strengthen economic and cultural ties between the three countries.
