Guinea: France mobilizes $1.2 billion to support infrastructure and investment attractiveness

France commits $1.2 billion to Guinea for strategic projects, strengthening infrastructure, healthcare and investment attractiveness under the Simandou 2040 program.

During a visit to Guinea on April 8, 2026, Nicolas Forissier announced over €1.1 billion, about $1.2 billion, committed to development projects. Led by French Development Agency, Bpifrance and Business France, the funding targets infrastructure, healthcare and the Simandou 2040 program, including four hospitals and urban development projects.
