In September, Morocco launched its Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, aimed at supporting the growth of local startups and leveraging digitalization to drive economic development. With a budget of $1.1 billion, the initiative aims to create 3,000 startups by 2030, including at least two « unicorns » (startups valued at over $1 billion). The country is focused on expanding its market, attracting foreign investment, and positioning itself as a leader in Africa’s technology and artificial intelligence sectors.
