Benin : launch of BIIC’s IPO for 192.3 million dollars
Benin plans to sell 40% of its stake in the Banque Internationale pour l’Industrie et le Commerce (BIIC) for 192.3 million dollars through an IPO at the regional stock exchange (BRVM). This initiative aims to attract investors and fund post-COVID-19 development projects. The government will offer up to 23.1 million shares at a price of 5,250 CFA francs per share.
