Kenya : economy grows 4.9% in Q3 2025 driven by agriculture and construction

Kenya’s economy expanded 4.9 % year-on-year in Q3 2025, up from 4.2 % in the same period last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Growth is fueled by agriculture and construction, rising from -2.6 % to +6.7 %, while mining also boosts activity. The World Bank has upgraded its 2025 growth forecast, supporting President William Ruto’s development ambitions.
