Zimbabwe : Victoria Falls Stock Exchange surges 34% in 2025, driven by mining sector

The Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX), trading in US dollars, has risen 34% year-to-date, up from 15% in 2024. Market capitalization increased 28.7% to USD 1.65 billion, boosted by Kavango Resources and strong mining stocks. Since its 2020 launch, VFEX has hosted major raises, including Karo Resources’ USD 36m. According to markets head Robert Mubaiwa, every transaction has been settled on time, cementing VFEX’s credibility among local and foreign investors.
