On February 20, 2025, Ghana inaugurated its first green hydrogen production system at the Don Bosco Solar Centre in Tema. This pilot project, developed in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences of Bochum and other partners, aims to improve the country’s energy reliability by using solar energy to produce hydrogen. German Ambassador Daniel Krull and representatives of the European Union praised this initiative.
