The Democratic Republic of Congo mobilized 8,039 billion Congolese francs ($3.2 billion) in tax revenue for the first 9 months of fiscal year 2023. This is a collection rate of more than 74% compared to the objectives of 10,843 billion Congolese francs ($4.1 billion), initially set by the authorities for the period under review. As part of the 2023 Finance Law, the Congolese government hopes to mobilize 12,833.9 billion FC in tax revenue, in particular thanks to a significant contribution from the mining sector.
