Ghana unveiled plans on April 23, 2025, in Accra to build 3 new refineries and 5 petrochemical plants under a $15B strategy. The 600,000 bpd capacity project, led by PHDC, will boost energy security, industrialization, and local job creation by processing oil and gas domestically.
