Senegal: Gold and oil boost exports
Exports of goods increased by 67.8 billion CFAF (about 115.260 million $) last November, an increase of 64.7 percent over the previous month, according to information provided by the directorate of forecasts and economic studies (DPEE).
According to the DPEE, « this performance is mainly attributed to non-monetary gold (over $ 61.6 billion), petroleum products ($ 12.4 billion), food products ($ 3.9 billion) and mineral and chemical fertilizers (3.1 billion more) ».
