New Research and Innovation L’Oréal South Africa

The new L’Oréal South Africa Research and Innovation center  is dedicated to the specific skin and hair as well as the African beauty rituals and Saharan consumers expectations. This is the seventh center that the group opens in the world. It accommodates product development teams, evaluation and advanced research with scientists in chemistry, physiology, biochemistry and cosmetology. Sub-Saharan Africa accounts for the L’Oréal group one of the regions enabling it to benefit from strong growth. In this way, the new center will allow the international cosmetics group to intensify its efforts to create innovative beauty products to African consumers. L’Oréal will have to adapt to the diverse beauty-related needs of populations. Since 2000, the group analyzes the markets, consumer expectations in the areas of care and beauty. It shows today its ambition to multiply its efforts to create more makeup lines and develop customized care lines for the body and skin hygiene.
