Kenya : first phase of $120M Kenya-AIST completed in Konza to boost tech education in Africa

On April 29, 2025, South Korea confirmed completion of phase one of the $120 million Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST) in Konza Technopolis. Funded by Korea’s EDCF, the project will offer advanced STEM training. It now enters phase two: lab setup, faculty hiring, and academic launch expected in 2026.
