On May 6, 2025, Cape Verde officially inaugurated TechPark Cabo Verde in Praia and Mindelo. Backed by $48M in funding from the AfDB and Luxembourg, the project aims to position the country as a West African tech hub. It is led by PM Ulisses Correia e Silva and digital minister Olavo Correia.
