Algeria : launch of the « Algeria Bid Round 2025 » for offshore exploration

The National Agency for Hydrocarbon Resources Development (Alnaft) will launch an international bidding round in October 2025 to attract foreign investors for the exploration of four to six offshore zones. This initiative is part of a broader strategy involving 17 oil projects aimed at boosting hydrocarbon production. Strategic partnerships with Chevron and SLB are underway, with promising results expected to further stimulate the sector.
