Gabon has settled CFA 17.9 billion ($29M) in dues to the World Bank, marking progress in debt management. Transitional President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema reaffirmed commitment to lenders. In return, the World Bank plans an infrastructure project and support for water and electricity access.
