Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu is making a one-day lightning visit to Uganda on February 3, according to an announcement by his services. If the Prime Minister’s office did not specify the purpose of the trip, sources say Netanyahu will try to convince Uganda to commit to opening an embassy in Jerusalem. A Ugandan government spokesperson confirmed that the visit would take place and said it was scheduled at the request of Netanyahu.
