Ten personalities have submitted their candidatures for the presidential election scheduled for February 22 in Togo, the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) announced on Thursday. « The CENI (…) will carry out a preliminary examination of all the files registered, which will be transmitted to the Ministry of Territorial Administration for the rest of the process, » added Ayassor, without revealing the names of the candidates. The final list of successful candidates will be published by the Constitutional Court no later than January 28.
