In the Global Soft Power Index 2026 by Brand Finance, ranking nations on non‑coercive influence, Egypt remains Africa’s most influential country, placed 40ᵗʰ globally with a score near 44.8/100. South Africa follows (43ᵗʰ) and Morocco (50ᵗʰ), while the United States tops the world. Other African countries such as Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania are also advancing within the top 100, reflecting growing perceptions of soft power on the continent.
