The United Arab Emirates announced a $1 billion initiative to expand AI infrastructure and services across Africa. Presented in Johannesburg by Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, the “AI for Development” program aims to boost adoption of AI in education, healthcare and climate resilience, promoting responsible and inclusive innovation across the continent.
