Anna Djigo-Koffi : Passing on Art to Children with Passion and Creativity

At a time when Africa is asserting itself as a creative and innovative continent, Anna Djigo-Koffi stands out as a cultural and artistic guide for younger generations. With her new magazine “Noa découvre l’Art” (Noa Discovers Art), she invites children to explore African and global heritage, awaken their imagination, and step closer to the fascinating universe of artists.

A Senegalese born in New York and a graduate in Communication and Public Relations from New York University (NYU, Cum Laude), Anna Djigo-Koffi has always navigated between continents and cultures. From New York to Paris, Abidjan to Dakar, her diverse path has shaped an open and exacting vision of art and culture.

A seasoned professional in communications and public relations, she worked for over twenty years with prestigious institutions and international brands — Kenzo Parfums, LVMH, CHANEL, L’Oréal, Groupe Alain Ducasse, Max Mara Paris… — before resolutely turning to publishing and cultural mediation, with a focus on young audiences.

In 2021, she founded Les Éditions HYBRID, to offer children books and magazines that highlight the richness of African and global heritage. The inaugural collection, “Arts & Découverte de Soi” (Arts & Self-Discovery), provides cultural awakening through contemporary and classical creations, blending imagination and learning.

Her flagship project, “Noa découvre l’Art”, born in may 2021, quickly found its audience and was presented at major events: the OFF Festival of the Dakar Biennale, the Abidjan International Book Fair, and in London at the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair.

With the launch in may 2025 of “Noa découvre l’Art – Le Magazine”, Anna Djigo-Koffi takes a new step forward. This quarterly, 52-page magazine, designed for children aged 7 to 14, offers a journey through African and international arts, combining artist profiles, interactive sections, games, and creative activities.

I was so touched by your enthusiasm for my books that I felt the urge to offer you a space for more regular, yet also deeper, learning about this wonderful world that is art

says Anna

For her, art is a universal language and a tool of cultural and emotional transmission. Each issue of the magazine becomes an invitation to explore, understand, and marvel:

“Each issue of the magazine will be an invitation to discover new facets of this fascinating universe: its language, its codes… and of course, the works of its greatest talents!”

Passionate about promoting African cultures and opening them to the world, Anna Djigo-Koffi places the continent at the heart of her approach, while also offering children plural and accessible artistic references.

It is so important to be able to recognize yourself in what is beautiful! Let us learn from our cultures, so we can share them better. Together… With Noa !

Through Les Éditions HYBRID, Anna Djigo-Koffi continues her mission: to awaken young minds, nourish their imagination, and give them the keys to understanding and loving art. With her magazine and publications, she opens a gateway to creation, cultural diversity, and the discovery of the world.
