Uganda : ATIDI announces a guarantee to Amea Power for Ituka West Nile Uganda Limited’s 20 megawatt solar power project

The Assurance for the Development of Trade and Investment in Africa (ATIDI) announced on 13 December that it has provided a guarantee to UAE-based Amea Power for the Ituka West Nile Uganda Limited 20 megawatt solar power project.

Support for the project being developed in Uganda is being provided to Amea Power via Atidi’s Regional Liquidity Support Facility (RLSF), by providing payment guarantees for the project on behalf of Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL).
