Senegal is continuing its economic development. While local authorities are mobilizing, civil society is also fully engaged. Rivolala Ratsimandresy is one of these players.

All ideas are good for structuring entrepreneurship in Senegal. As investment funds multiply in Terranga, some actors of Senegalese civil society are making their contributions. Rivolala Ratsimandresy, a 42-year-old Franco-Malagasy deeply believes in the potential of Senegalese entrepreneurs. However_the public’s perception of these project leaders must change. «If you say that you are an entrepreneur in Senegal, the population understands that you have not been able to find a job in a large group, »he explains.
The Entrepreneurs’ Meeting
In response to this reality, Ratsimandresy created La Rencontre Des Entrepreneurs in 2014. « We organize intensive courses to allow entrepreneurs to master some notions of entrepreneurship« . During these training sessions, La Rencontre Des Entrepreneurs teaches them how to approach customers and draw up a business plan. We can also go much further. « We accompany young project leaders for five years. When they raise funds, we participate with them in the first rounds of the table, » he says. Its ambition is equal to Senegal’s entrepreneurial needs. It hopes to support 55 projects over the next five years.
