Republic of Congo : construction of the National Data Center to strengthen regional digital sovereignty
The Republic of Congo is bolstering its regional digital sovereignty with the construction of the National Data Center in Brazzaville, funded by the African Development Bank. This project aims to store and process national data, enhancing control over the country’s digital resources. The futuristic building, financed with €66.55 million (€52.47 million from the AfDB and €14.50 million from the Congolese government), will serve as a pivotal hub for data storage and processing. It will also host various locally developed applications, contributing to the digital development of the region.
