Report : East Africa concentrates 60% of global population living in extreme poverty

The World Bank’s Africa’s Pulse report reveals that East African countries harbor 60% of the global population living in extreme poverty. Madagascar, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Kenya are among the most affected.
