The African Development Bank (AfDB) has signed a $75 million loan agreement with Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited in Nigeria. The aim is to boost fertilizer production, enhance food security, and create jobs in Nigeria. The project includes expanding production capacity and building a new shipping terminal. This investment aligns with AfDB’s strategy to promote private sector development and stimulate real sector growth.
