Infrastructure : IFC commits $30 million to boost infrastructure development in Africa through AIIF4 Partnership

In an effort to boost the development of vital infrastructure throughout Africa, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) has disclosed a $30 million equity investment in the Africa Infrastructure Investment Fund 4 Partnership (AIIF4).

Under the management of Africa Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a subsidiary of the Old Mutual Group, the fund aims to catalyze projects in the telecommunications, renewable energy, and transport sectors, emphasizing strategic initiatives in Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Senegal, and South Africa.
