Ghana : “our economic growth is rebounding” Akufo-Addo

Ghana’s economic growth is rebounding after three difficult years, said Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his Christmas message.

« Inflation is under control, we are experiencing a relatively stable exchange rate and growth in our economy is rebounding, » he said.

« The country is not completely out of the woods, but we are increasingly confident that with hard work and determination, Ghana will pull through and, collectively, we will secure our future, » the president added.

The Ghanaian government is currently undergoing economic reform with a $3 billion rescue package from the International Monetary Fund, in the hope of reviving its economy.
