The African Development Fund has approved a grant of $42.86 million for Ethiopia to fund the Agri-SMEs Development for Jobs Program. This program aims to improve access to finance and business development services for over 8,000 SMEs led by youth and women. With contributions of $10 million from the Development Bank of Ethiopia and $6.24 million from the Ethiopian Government, this project supports financial inclusion and entrepreneurship.
