Egypt has been ranked 24th globally among 233 countries, with 44,219 international researches and ranked 388th according to the latest report published by SCImago Journal Rank for the year 2022.
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour said Egypt’s scientific research centers and bodies have achieved remarkable progress in the international publication.
The number of scientific citations has recorded 42,493, minister Ashour said, pointing out to the advancement achieved by Egypt compared by the year 2021, when it was ranked 26th as regards published scientific documents.
