The DRC and Citibank signed a memorandum of understanding for the banking of diplomats’ salaries as well as the management of other expenses of Congolese chancelleries. The objective is to enable the centralization of State commitments to all diplomatic missions of the DRC. From now on, every diplomat receives his salary and rent in his account at the end of each month.
