Burkina Faso : construction begins on “IRO-TEXBURKINA” textile complex to enhance cotton value

Captain Ibrahim Traoré initiated the construction of the « IRO-TEXBURKINA » textile complex in Sourgou. This project aims to process 20,000 tons of cotton annually, creating over 5,000 jobs. The government seeks to enhance the value chain of cotton, the second-largest export product.
