Karabuk Iron Steel Industry Trade & CO. INC. (Kardemir) has signed a contract worth €10.3 million (approximately $11.2 million) for the export of rails to Algeria, according to an announcement made on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). This contract, which is set to be executed within three months, marks a significant advancement for the Turkish steel manufacturer in the international railway market. It also highlights Kardemir’s competitiveness and commitment to undertaking major infrastructure projects abroad, thereby contributing to the development of Turkey’s steel industry.
