Algeria forecasts a 2.5% increase in hydrocarbon production in 2025, reaching 206 million tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE). Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab attributed this growth to new international partnerships signed with companies like Eni, Repsol, and TotalEnergies. An invitation to tender for six exploration areas has also been launched to attract new foreign investments.
