Ghana : IMF board to consider approving loan deal (IMF)
Ghana has given sufficient assurances to enable the International Monetary Fund (IMF) board to consider approving a $3 billion loan agreement, the Institution said in a statement on 12 May.
« Very pleased the Official Creditor Committee for #Ghana has provided financing assurances, clearing the way for our Board to consider the proposed Fund-supported program soon, » IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva said in a tweet after the statement.
